The Pace Community is excited to welcome you to campus this fall. Join us at our traditional Convocation ceremony as we come together to welcome our new students and kick off the academic year.
What is Convocation?
Convocation comes from the Latin for "calling together." At Pace, Convocation is the firstÄÐÅ®²Ù±ÆÊÓƵÈí¼þ“time incoming students come together to meet the President, Provost, Dean for Students, and key student leaders. It is one of the most important traditions for our incoming students and sets the academic tone for their years to come.

Kick off the semester with a post-Convocation celebration hosted by the Student Government Association, Residence Hall Association, Commuter Student Board, and Programming Board. Enjoy lawn games, food, and fun in the sun with your fellow Setters. All are welcome!

Celebrate your start at Pace with a Love IslandÄÐÅ®²Ù±ÆÊÓƵÈí¼þ“themed party designed to get you in the school spirit. Swing by outside One Pace Plaza for a sweet treat on your way to the Luau or a vision board painting session. DonÄÐÅ®²Ù±ÆÊÓƵÈí¼þ™t forget to snap a photo to mark the beginning of your Pace journey!
